The patient is a 58 year old female who underwent two lumpectomies on her right breast for DCIS, but still had positive margins. She therefore underwent a right mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with a TRAM flap from the left side of her abdomen. One year after the original surgery, the muscle pedicle was removed from the medial inferior portion of the inframammary fold in order to deepen it. No other procedures were necessary.
